[SINGAPORE] On a quiet Thursday morning, two sisters in their 50s enter a bright, mirrored studio at The Centrepoint on Orchard Road. Wearing matching black leggings and grip socks, they settle onto reformer machines as their instructor leads them through slow, deliberate movements. Within minutes, the room fills with controlled breathing and focused effort.
What started as a casual trial a year ago has evolved into a weekly ritual for the pair.
“At our age, we wanted something that builds core strength, flexibility, and posture without feeling intimidating,” says the older sister, Samantha Tan. “Pilates checks all the boxes.”
