Bold shift: a beloved interactive experience has vanished from Pandora and been replaced by more merchandise. The ACE Avatar Making Experience at Windtraders is now permanently closed and the space redesigned to expand product offerings.
What happened
After news in October that the ACE Avatar Making Experience would no longer operate, guests encountered black curtains and baskets where the customization machine once stood. Those baskets remain, but a green curtain now reflects shadows and colors from the shop, transforming the area’s ambiance.
Reconfiguring the space
The former kiosk area has been repurposed into a merchandise shelf near the registers, with additional products lining the surrounding wall. Earlier in October, barriers such as curtains and stanchions kept guests out, signaling a permanent closure of the experience.
What guests could customize
Previously, guests could create a personalized Avatar figure by scanning themselves and selecting attributes like body type, hair style, and eye color to craft a figure that resembled them closely.
Current status and prospects
The experience didn’t gain lasting popularity, and earlier in the season the associated figurines were discounted from $79.99 to $50. There has been no announcement about a new replacement experience for this space.
