Noah LaVallee stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 220 pounds, hailing from Marietta, Georgia. He attends Walton High School and is the younger brother of Caleb LaVallee, who transferred to Florida State this offseason from North Carolina. FSU outpaced several programs for Noah’s commitment, including Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Ole Miss, and Wake Forest, among others.
On the recruiting trail, Noah is rated as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite. He sits as the 1,445th-ranked player nationally, 120th at linebacker, and 148th in Georgia, with the most recent evaluation occurring roughly two and a half months prior. evaluators note his productive on-field carry and ideal size for modern defenses, complemented by solid field vision, patience, and a quick diagnostic trigger. In Tony White’s defensive scheme, Noah projects as a true Mike (middle) linebacker. His speed and physicality align with the role, and staff members also highlight leadership potential. While sharing a roster bond with his brother was a benefit, the Seminoles emphasized Noah’s individual fit beyond that connection.
During his senior season, LaVallee piled up 183 tackles (103 solo, 8 for loss), 10 pass deflections, one sack, one forced fumble and recovery, plus a blocked punt. His junior year was equally productive, earning First-Team All-Region honors with 124 tackles (8 for loss), five pass breakups, and a blocked punt. He isn’t billed as the fastest or most athletic linebacker on the roster, but he consistently plays to his strengths and is anticipated to contribute quickly on special teams as well as defense. This signing should bolster both the field unit and the locker room atmosphere.
Academically, LaVallee carries a 3.55 GPA and has shown leadership on his high school squad, a trait the FSU staff expects to translate to Tallahassee.
